Session Concepts

Warm-Up

A warm-up is used to mobilise, activate and potentiate muscles. This will help avoid injuries and prepare muscles for high workloads. Warm-up exercises increase in intensity at the player's self-determined rate. This ensures player's peak in fitness ready for the beginning of training.

Fitness

Fitness work revolves around high intensity interval training (HIIT) and often our fitness drills will combine HIIT with ball work.  Fitness-specific sessions are perfect during pre-season and during the Christmas break to aggregate or maintain fitness.
